Founded in March 2001 under the auspices of the Korean Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Korea Literature Translation Institute seeks to promote awareness of Korean literature throughout the world.
LTI Korea supports the translation and publication of Korean literature in foreign languages and organizes various forms of international exchange to further this end. We also manage other programs, including providing financial support for the training of translators, holding translation and publication workshops, and supporting research on Korean literature. In addition, LTI Korea provides comprehensive and easily accessible multilingual Internet resources through our Virtual Library of Korean Literature. |
