KANG Seok-jin - Genre : Natural Science - Award :   KANG Seok-jin was born in Seoul in 1961. He graduated the Department of Mathematics at Seoul National University and received a PhD in mathematics from Yale University. He was a lecturer at North Carolina State University, a researcher at the mathematics research institute at U.C. Berkeley, an assistant professor at University of Notre Dame and a professor at the Korea Institute for Advanced Studies. He is currently a professor at Seoul National University. He received the 'Young Scientist Award' and was selected by Hankyoreh Newspaper as one of the ‘100 future leaders of Korea’ His works include , , and has also published various research papers.
