JWA Baek - Genre : Novels - Award :   JWA Baek was born in 1965. He graduated from Soongsil University studying philosophy in 1993, and set out on the path to becoming a fantasy novel writer in 1995. His debut work, , set a new standard for Korean fantasy novels, which had merely followed or modified Chinese fantasy novels up until that point, and is regarded to be the work that opened so-called “new fantasy novels.” Since then, he has released ten series, from (1995) to (1996), and finally to (2003), and has placed himself as theforerunner in the world of Korean fantasy novels.
