This is to inform you of 2010 1st Korea Literature Translation Institute (KLTI)’s program, “Publication Grants” and “Overseas Marketing Grants”

 

1.      Overseas Publication Grants

  KLTI Provides Publication Grants to overseas publishers who are planning to publish translated Korean books. The amount is decided based on category and publication cost of the book, and the grants covers a part of the total publication expenses.

 

2.      Overseas Marketing Grants

In order to introduce translated Korean books to foreign readers, KLTI provides support for overseas publishers to promote and market their published books in translation. The purpose of the grants is to support publication marketing events which reference people to create the book such as the author, translators participate in, including publication ceremonies held overseas. 

 

How to Apply for the Grnats

You can apply for KLTI publication or Marketing grants program by completing on-line application form after registering as a member on the website, www.koreanbooks.or.kr. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis by September 30, 2010. The result is notified in April, July, October.
